This study was based on the inter rater reliability of 2021/2022 teaching practice assessment of the student-teachers of the University of Benin. Three research questions and corresponding hypotheses were raised and formulated respectively. It employed the survey research designed with correlation approach. All the 152 supervisors/raters of the 2021/2022 TP exercise which were grouped into76 groups and all the 3269 undergraduate students of 300 and 400 levels who took part in the TP exercise made up the population of the study.

This study aimed to investigate the usage of cognitive learning strategy components (in-depth study, pre-expository effort, wide-range of study, rehearsal and organization) by secondary school students as well as their contribution to academic achievement of students in Mathematics. To carry out the study, two (02) research questions were raised and hypothesized. A correlation research design was adopted and all senior secondary school (SS 2) students in Benin City made up the population and a sample size of 140 students was used.
